We are always being told that Islam is peacefull, well below are some statements from the Qur'an, make your own mind up. Qur'an 9:5 '' Fight and Kill the disbelievers wherever you find them, take them captive,harass them,lie in wait and ambush them using every stratagem of war''. Qur'an 9:112 ''The believers fight in Allah's cause, they slay and are slain, kill and are killed''. Qur'an 9:29 ''Fight those who do not believe until they all surrender''. Qur'an 9:123 ''Fight the unbelievers around you, and let them find harshness in you''. Qur'an 48:27 '' If the Muslims had not been there,we would have punished the unbelievers with a grievous torture''. Qur'an 8:57 If you gain mastery over them in battle, inflict such a defeat as would terrorize them, so that they would learn a lesson and be warned''. Qur'an 8:12 '' Your lord inspired the angels with the message:''I will terrorize the unbelievers''. Therefore smite them on their necks and every joint and incapacitate them, Strike off their heads and cut off each of their fingers and toes. Don't know about you but that does not sound peacefull to me.
